Science Unit 2: Rocks, Minerals, and Erosion
In this unit, the student will:
- identify characteristics of compare-and-contrast text pattern;
- identify characteristics of placards;
- synthesize information;
- give a book talk;
- use print features in your writing;
- learn about rocks, minerals, and erosion.

Throughout the book, the student will learn the strategies on reading, writing, speaking, listening and media literacy, and trying out these strategies.
