- learn about Canada's connections to the world;
- identify conventions and techniques in thematic maps.
Science Unit 2: Flight
In this unit, the student will:
- monitor one's comprehension;
- identify characteristics of question-and-answer text pattern;
- use terminology in one's writing;
- paint a picture using words;
- analyze points of view in media texts;
- learn about flight.
Throughout the book, the student will learn the strategies on reading, writing, speaking, listening and media literacy, and trying out these strategies.
