Health Unit: Making Choices
In this unit, the student will:
- identify the main idea and supporting details while reading;
- identify characteristics of cause-and-effect text pattern;
- choose effective organizational patterns for writing;
- identify the main idea and supporting details while listening;
- identify overt and implied messages in ads;
- learn about healthy living.

Throughout the book, the student will learn the strategies on reading, writing, speaking, listening and media literacy, and trying out these strategies.
