The first part of the workbook focus on learnging or reviewing  the basic skills of  colors, shapes, same and different, numbers, sequencing, classifying, alphabets recognition, begininging sounds of the alphabets, handwriting of the manuscript alphabets, rhyming words, and positon words.  Then reading of simple or few words sentences is introduced to acquire simple reading skills and reading comprehension.  The length of sentences and the number of sentences are gradually increased.  The workbook pages are done with colorful illustrations.
